CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – There are two weeks left to register for the disaster assistance made available following the severe storms and flooding of August 8-10, recovery officials announced today. The deadline is Tuesday, November 3, for residents of Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and Erie counties, according to officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and New York State Emergency Management Office (SEMO). November 3 is also the deadline to submit disaster loan applications to the U.S.

Chris asks: I’m contacting you to get your opinion on a website design/business strategy as I plan to launch a blog targeting the Australian small businesses niche. My conundrum is do I launch the blog on the root of the domain or do I place it in a subdirectory (/blog) given that I with time (12 months+) the site will have grown to be more than just a blog and will also provide products and services?

A quick internet search yeilds plenty of World Ventures information. A lot of it is negative, and most of it is unsubstantiated. The facts are, this company was founded in 2005. It sells vacation packages at a discount, and also allows members to sell World Ventures travel products. World Ventures sells two products, Dream Trip and the LTC package. Dream Trip is a membership that allows people to travel the world at rock-bottom prices.
