Oftentimes, managers and executive staff become quite detached from what is really happening on the frontlines of their business. Management’s view of a company is typically very different than those of the salespeople, and that disconnect can ultimately be quite detrimental to the overall success of a company.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois – Sears Holdings (SHLD) announces earnings today; turns out their second-quarter loss is $94 million, or 79 cents a share, with revenue falling to $10.55 billion from $11.76 billion. Dividers – The divider is designed in order to draw circles or arcs on a designated work piece. The divider is typically made out of steel and it has sharp points that are capable of marking metal or wood. Dividers are also commonly used in order to transfer distances between a sample piece and a working piece through direct marking. A line parallel to an edge can also be marked if the divider is moved down along the line. Sometimes a sheet needs to be able to fit an irregular edge, and a divider can be used to match the edge because it follows every single bump.

They never played leading roles such as those of the cabbage and the potato. They are merely members of “the cast” which performed the small but important parts in the production of the pleasing tout ensemble—soup, stew, sauce, or salad—the remembrance of which, like that of a well-staged and well-acted drama, lingers in
